Welcome! The Alpha Beta Chapter of
Delta Zeta Sorority is excited you’re here!

At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Delta Zeta is recognized for philanthropic contributions, high academic standards and most importantly, a large community of life-long friends and sisters. Both our current members and alumnae are extraordinary women who always represent our pillars of leadership, philanthropy, scholarship, and sisterhood. As Chapter President, I am proud to represent such an amazing group of ambitious, thoughtful women.

The Alpha Beta chapter not only develops internal events and programs, but also hosts one of the largest philanthropy events on campus, Turtle Tugs, which benefits programs for The Painted Turtle Camp. Our other philanthropy event, Turtle Trot, a 5k race held on the quad, benefits Speech and Hearing Science.  We are also very social, partnering with other Greek and non-Greek organizations throughout the year for events and social activities.

With over 15,400 active collegians in a given year, Delta Zeta boasts over 247,000 women worldwide. Nationally, over 3 million service hours and over 6.5 million dollars have been raised for our philanthropic partners, The Painted Turtle Camp, Gallaudet University, and the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

I encourage you to explore the rest of our site for details on our history, legacy, sisterhood, and activities.  Our  “Contact” tab, above, contains contact information for our Executive Board to answer any questions you may have. I hope you enjoy learning more about Delta Zeta and see why Alpha Beta is so proud to be a part of this enriching experience.

In the flame,
Victoria Haro
